Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an outstanding professor of psychology since 1993. She is also the director for the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. It is widely believed that she was the one who starting the modern scientific study of children's witness memory as well as child victimes as witness in lawful situations. Professor Goodman is an prolific writer and has been awarded several awards and grants. She has consulted with numerous governments and agencies throughout the globe on policy and research concerning children who are victims of the justice system. She acts as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a Fellow of both the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). Professor Goodman is a member of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a founding Member, International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of 3 divisions (Division Society for Policy and Child Development and Practice Division, American Psychological Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology) and one Section (Child Maltreatment) of the American Psychological Association.
