Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress most commonly known for her role as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent performer, actress, and playwright and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory as being at play rehearsals together with her mother. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials as an infant. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles in the decade following 1999. Silk met her husband, Seth Cooperman, at an acting training held in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple was wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. In Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011, they renewed vows following her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk was blessed with an infant son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk has a number of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for a Gemini Award in 2009 for her performance. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk was pregnant while filming the final episode of the third series. The actress announced her pregnancy to the fans in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special on 6 January 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she is ready to resume work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production of the fourth season. CNN named Bo's portrayal with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples ever. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple of 2013. Entertainment Television.
